| Wedding Cake Pricing Wedding cakes start at $4.50 per serving. A wedding cake serving is 1" x 2". This price includes standard cake and filling flavors, standard frosting and trim. Fondant wedding cakes start at $4.75 per serving. Special treatments and more elaborate trim or adornments are additional. Tasting and Design Appointments A $25 - non-refundable fee is required to schedule a wedding cake tasting and design appointment which will be put towards your cake order. The tasting is for the bride and groom and two additional guests, additional guest are extra. I also offer a complimentary design appointment during which we can work out specific designs and you may taste a couple cake samples. If you would just like to just taste the quality of my cakes please contact me for a free sample. Deposits $100 non-refundabale save the date deposit is required to hold a date in my schedule. 50% of your order total is due 8 weeks prior to event date. The remaining balance is due 4 weeks prior to event. Cancellations more than a six weeks in advance will receive a refund minus the save the date fee and Cancellations 4-6 weeks prior to your even will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than four weeks in advance will not receive a refund. Availability I only accept one or two large cakes per event day depending on sizes of cakes being ordered. So reserving your date can become critical as one large cake order can block out a day very quickly. Whole calendar months can be booked months or over a year in advance. Please keep this in mind in planning your wedding as I would hate to have to say "no" if it's too late. Display Equipment Rental of special display equipments starts at $25 per event, with appropriate replacement cost deposits. Rental equipment must be returned by the Tuesday following your event, clean and in good condition. If equipment is not returned in time or is dirty, damaged, or parts are missing, replacement/clean costs will be deducted from your deposit. Deposits will be returned once equipment is shown to be in good repair. Basic delivery and set up of wedding cakes over $400 is free within the Corona City Limits. Delivery and set-up to other areas is additional and varies depending on distance and travel time. |
| Last-minute Wedding Cakes I understand that sometime weddings can be "last minute" affairs and that sometimes a baker may fall through with little notice. If you find yourself without a wedding cake days or a couple weeks before your wedding, I'd love to help out if my schedule allows. We can often meet the same day you call me and to design your cake and place your order. Depending on how close your event is, there may be limited flavors and choices and due to time restraints some adornments are not possible but we can come up with something perfectly fitting, beautiful and delicious. If your event is less than four weeks away then full payment is required at the time of the first meeting. In rare circumstance there may be a rush fee for unusually or elaborate flavor choices due to availability of ingredients. Unlike a lot of bakers I don't charge a rush or last minute fee.
